We have around 150 pairs of shoes now in stock with the shoe wall completely full with all the new ranges of shoes from Ecco, FootJoy, Sketchers and adidas for the 2016 season. Also we are able to measure and fit you with our Brannock fitting device allowing us to advise you on the correct width and size of shoe required.
Finally to make sure you not only get great fitting service we are offering a trade in promotion with up to £20 OFF selected shoes from the 1st April.
Mizuno Driver Fitting
We have taken delivery this week of the Mizuno driver fitting system with a full range of driver lofts and shafts that will allow us to fit you with the perfect club to suit your unique swing specifications. Try our 10 yard challenge this week. We promise to increase and improve on your existing driver by a minimum of 10 extra yards if we can't we will give 3 Srixon golf balls of your choice.
Lynx and Mizuno Fitting Days
Please make a note in your diary for two demo days booked for this month. On Thursday 14th AprilMizuno will be with us between 1-5pm. We are offering 8 half hour slots which we anticipate will go quickly so please book early.
On Thursday 28th AprilLynx golf will be at The Links, they have a huge club range to suit golfers just starting out right up to the elite golfer with prices to suit all pockets. Once again we have 8 half hour slots between 11am -3pm.
Juniors V NAGS Match
The NAGS or the Senior section of the club this week showed the Junior team that experience still counts when they won 5-1 in the annual match. The Nags, lead by Captain Keith Fayres proved too strong for the youngsters on the day but it was great to see both young and old getting together on the course. Not to worry Jack and your junior team there is always next year.
Storm Kate left her mark
Through Sunday night and Monday morning storm Kate caused havoc across the south of England and also left her mark on The Links. The Bank holiday mixed competition was cancelled and we also lost a 25 year old pine tree on the righthand side of the 13th hole about a 100 yards from the green.
