PGA Trade Show Orlando Florida
This week I'm off to, hopefully warmer weather and the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando Florida. This is an event that I have always promised myself I would attend as it is the biggest show of its kind in the World. It will be especially interesting this year as a number of the leading manufacturers use the show to release new models for the coming season ahead and they like to do this at Orlando. I will be getting my first view of the new Callaway Epic driver, which if rumours are to be believed, Rory will have in his bag this year. I will also be viewing the new M1 & M2 clubs from TaylorMade which we have just committed to stock at The Links this season. I will be looking to demo a number of the new clubs and will report back. Follow us on Twitter by clicking here and keep up to date with what's happening at the show.
Demo Wood Sale
We are selling off our demo clubs from last year which include several demo drivers, all are in good condition.
As they are adjustable we are able to fully customise them for you.
With each club we are offering a FREE fitting on our GC2 launch monitor so as to maximise the clubs performance for any individual.
Titleist Vokey SM6 Wedges have arrived
The new Titleist Vokey SM6 range of wedges have just arrived in stock, and comes in over 21 different lofts and bounces. This season we have also invested in 6 Vokey demo wedges, all of which are available for you to try to help you can make the perfect choice for your game. To aid you in making that choice we are offering FREE fittings so you can gap your wedges correctly. Typically a modern pitching wedge loft is in the region of 46* with the standard Sand iron 56*, a 10 degree difference. This gap doesn't appear in other areas in your iron set. Just imagine taking away your 7 iron and having to manufacture shots with your 6&8 irons to fill the gap.
Only this week we carried out a typical wedge fitting and the golfer had a gap of 30 yards between his PW & SW, hitting his wedge an average of 100 yards against just 70 yards with his SW. If you would like to find out your gapping and distances why not pop in and find out more information on the subject.
