Rules Survey

Thank you to all those members who took the time to fill in my survey in last week's mail about the proposed rule changes the R& A and the USPGA are considering implementing in 2019. It was very interesting to see, even in a small survey like ours, how opinions are split.

Never the less it will be valuable information for the governing bodies to consider when our information is added to similar surveys carried out by Foremost Golf across the country.

The next Fourball Supper event will be in the autumn and is scheduled for the 17th October. As you can see they are a lot of fun and a great opportunity to meet and play with other members, put a note in your diary.

 

FREE Socks with FJ Shoe Fitting

New this week we have taken delivery of the FootJoy shoe fitting system. FJ say that they have run tests that show 70% of golfers are wearing the wrong size shoes which may cause a possible power loss in their swing of up to 26%. Think where the energy comes from when you make a standing jump into the air; in the same way we create power in our swing action.

With the use of the Brannock foot measuring device in the Pro Shop we can fit you accurately for correct size and width of shoe, and as an added incentive we are offering a FREE pair of FJ cushioned sole socks with every pair of Contour shoes sold up until end of March.

To qualify for the promotion, you must have your feet measured before purchase.

 

Junior Easter Coaching

Do you have young family or family friends interested in starting or participating in golf this Easter?

Why not invite them along to join in the fun? We have two dates scheduled and everyone is welcome. All clubs and equipment will be supplied. Sessions are 2 hours long and cost £15each with 2 sessions just £25.
