Sergio the Master
Sergio finally got over the finishing line last weekend in the first Major of the year the US Masters. I think you will agree, as do most members that have been at the club this week, Sergio is a very popular winner. Both he and Justin provided a great spectacle to get the golfing season well and truly started.
The other winner, of course, was the TaylorMade golf company with both Sergio and Justin using their equipment. The iconic M2 driver, the Spider putter and the launch of their new ball the TP5 golf ball. TaylorMade certainly had value for money with their sponsorship arrangements with the two players, as their equipment choices were visible on TV for at least 5 hours last Sunday night.
The M series drivers are the most popular on tour and the new TP5 ball, I'm certain will be challenging the supremacy of Titleist in the ball market. If you would like to find out what all the fuss is about with these drivers, you can.
Follow Sergio and Justin's lead and try the M2 driver here at the Links, click here to book a fitting today.

Links Junior Open
Last Monday we hosted The Links Junior Open, always a popular event on the Junior calendar. The Open attracted over 40 youngsters from around the East region from as far afield as North London, up to Norfolk.
Congratulations to everyone who took part; in particular to Scratch winner Ollie Rust from Gog Magog GC and handicap winner Hugh Myers with an outstanding nett 62. Links member worthy of mention was Harry O'Shea who finished second in the handicap section with a nett 70, well played Harry.
Captains Marcella Tuttle and Kevin McDonnell were on hand to present the trophies and prizes to the winners.
Have a great Easter break form all the Team in your Pro Shop.

Now is the ideal time to swap as we’re offering £25 OFF a Lithium battery when you trade-in your old one. | Click here to find out why it pays to go Lithium |
