Busy Couple Of Months With Our Club Fitting & Lesson Offer
We have had a very busy April and May with members taking advantage of our FREE club fitting promotion. We are offering, for a limited time only, with the purchase of selected equipment a FREE fitting and FREE follow up lesson.
 We have seen many golfers gaining a lot of yards and distance over the period. The conversation often heard in the Pro Shop is "does club fitting really make a difference?".
Our answer to that question is that everything in golf is measurable now on launch monitors etc. so any improvement is fact, not opinion. If you are considering getting your season off to best possible start book a fitting today. What have you got to lose?

Ladies Jean Wilkinson Team
Another great win for our Jean Wilkinson team playing against the Gogs at home last week, winning 6 out of their 7 matches. A brilliant team effort from Lynn Lambert, Karen Cook, Barbara Coe, Naomi Pilmer, Sue Hide, Carol Wigham and Irene Fretwell. A special congratulation must go to our rookies Irene and Naomi, who both won their matches first time out.
Many thanks to the caddies: Wayne Cook, David Jewell, Pat Dugdale, Di McDonnell & Teresa Locke for supporting the team and keeping their players focused.
The Jean Wilkinson is an inter-club county league (singles played off scratch in various handicap bands).

Jonny Eagles The 10th
Whilst playing with Dan Knight this week, Jonny drove the 10th green and holed his putt for an eagle 2.
Not a bad effort Son.

John Yuill Represents Club At English Seniors
 This week club member and past Club Champion John Yuill is playing in the English Seniors Championships at Saunton GC in Devon.
This year's 54 hole championship at Saunton has attracted a record entry from golfers aged 55 and over with a handicap of 4.5 or less. Best of luck John enjoy your week.

New Date For Liz Butcher Am-Am
Unfortunately, the Liz Butcher Am-Am scheduled for last Tuesday was cancelled due to the worst weather we have experienced in weeks. As always a lot of hard work goes in to organising these days and it was disappointing for it to be scuppered by the weather.
Please make a note in your diary though for the new rearranged date of Tuesday 1st August.
