John Squeezes Into A Wet Suit For The First Time

I've just returned from a holiday down at Croyde in Devon. A bit of surfing, golfing and some spectacular coastal walks, honest I'm not on commission with Devon tourist board. The area is well worth a visit. We played Saunton GC which the previous week had hosted the English Seniors Championships, an event club member John Yuill played in.

For the first time I even managed to squeeze into a wet suit and venture out on a surf board, not sure what was the more difficult, getting into a wet suit or the balancing on a board. Good to be back though, through gritted teeth.

Club Members Star For The County This Week

Firstly, congratulations go to junior member Dan Knight who made a winning start on his debut for the Cambridgeshire County U18 Junior team at the Gog Magog GC this week. Dan has been working very hard on his game this year and has made great progress, his inclusion in the team is well deserved. Well done Dan.

The Cambs and Hunts ladies team are playing in County Week at Hunstanton GC all this week and The Links have 5 members involved, more than any other club from the region, a magnificent achievement. Well done to Marcella Tuttle, Laura Tuttle, Claire Tuttle, Sarah Greenall and Jackie Ewing.
