John on the Quintic this week.

I made some very interesting discoveries this week about my putting stroke. You would think after 40 years or more of playing golf I would know about the path of my putter and its clubface position at impact. My miss tends to be a short and to the right.

After a number of putts on Quintic I discovered that my putter path was moving across the ball in an out to in fashion and at impact my clubface was very slightly open. Although it is a work in progress I have made a few changes and things are beginning to feel better and my stroke now feels more stable at impact.
