Welcome to another edition of our newsletter. This week we look forward to the next round of our ladies crunch match, and the Ryder Cup is now only 4 weeks away and you have the chance to play a former venue. Enjoy the read!

Competition news

Annodata Matchplay 5th round news....

The Links ladies will be playing the 5th round match versus Spalding GC at home this Saturday at 12:30pm. The team of Lynn Lambert, Karen Cook, Carol Wigham, Naomi Pilmer and Sarah Greenall are very much looking forward to the challenge!

If we win this round we are through to the Regional Finals which would be followed by the final in Spain. To add to the excitement I have just heard that the Annodata organisers wish to cover our fixture as their “Featured Match” on their website and social media pages. They are sending a couple of people to take team and course photos and write a report.

Are you interested in going to the US Masters and playing a Ryder cup golf venue?

Jonny is running a trip of a lifetime to the US Masters 2019. There will also be a stop off at the Ryder cup venue Kiawah Island Golf Resort where you will play all the courses at the resort overlooking the Atlantic, including the famous Ocean Course which hosted the ‘War on the Shore’ Ryder cup in 1991. The Childerley Tour

Richard is running an overseas competition in March 2019 and would like to invite all members and friends of the club. Please find more details on the poster attached.

Setting your sights
