New Practise nets
We apologise for the inconvenience caused this week but Work on the new practise nets behind the Pro Shop has just began. Unfortunately the area will be out of action for a few weeks.
The new netting system will be an upgrade on the previous and will incorporate a very simple ramp ball return system. There will be a hard standing area also for golfers and their equipment.

The boy's making a bit of history.
It has been a very special year for three Links Golf Club members. Toby Crisp, John Quigley and David Marris have between them have created a little bit of history. They managed to win their respective CAGU county Singles Championships. Toby winning the Mens, John the seniors and David the juniors title. It is the first time this has been achieved and not only requires a high level of play but a number of other factors not always under the players' control.
Very well played gentleman.

Deve Pelz -Short game Coach to Phil Mickleson
As I mentioned last week we met and had the pleasure of listening to one of the worlds top coaches,Dave Pelz. He has coached many of the top players in the world and has written, what can only be described as, two bibles on his putting and short game philosophies.
We got to have a great chat with Dave about the intricacies of the short game, he passed on a lot of great advice about putting and chipping, which will look to bring into our lessons. An hours lesson with Dave Pelz starts at about £3000, our lesson prices are a lot more reasonable so come in store to book, or click here to send me an email.
