Captain/Pro Challenge Matches - New dates released

The Captain would like to invite any combination from the membership (i.e men, ladies or mixed pairs) to an 18 hole challenge match. The pair who have the best result against us over the season will be presented with 12 bottles of wine to share on New Year’s Day.

Each player will need to pay £10 each for a lost match, £5 for a half and no fee for a win. All monies to the Captains Charity. To enter either contact the pro shop or sign the entry sheet up on the clubhouse notice board.

Paul Byrne holes in one and clears out the Hole in One fund

Congratulations to Paul Byrne who holed out using his 5 wood at the 3rd hole last Saturday’s Centenary Trophy.

Paul also qualified for the Hole In One pot which runs in conjunction with Two’s Club of £392 - Many congratulations Paul.

PING Demo Day

We are looking forward to hosting our first PING Demo Day this year. Please make a note in your diary for Wed 24th July when we will have 8 x 30 minutes appointments starting at 12pm available for booking.

The full PING G410 range of woods and irons will be available, plus also get your first look of the new GLe2 ladies range which have just been released this month.

This event is always popular so please book your spot early to avoid disappointment.

Due to popular demand, we have just added and received our new Links golf club & Golf Lab mallet putter covers to our range of crested merchandise that we stock.

These headcovers will make a very popular gift or prize for members and non-members alike. They are customised with images linking the golf club with the horse racing industry of Newmarket.
