Demo PING ladies GLe2 clubs

New Year new clubs ladies!

For a short time only we have the full range of ladies PING GLe2 demo fitting clubs including driver, fairways, hybrids and irons.

If you are considering treating yourself to a new set for the season ahead then coupled with Free fitting in the Lab until 24th Jan.

It’s a great opportunity to improve your kit and get used to them before the season gets started.

Mavrik from Callaway

Callaway Golf have just launched their new Mavrik family of golf clubs on Tuesday this week.

We took delivery of all the demo equipment and are currently testing the new equipment.

Some Putting Myths put to rest!

Jonny will be holding a series of putting seminars in the Links Golf Lab focusing on crushing some old myths which have been wrecking putting strokes for years.

He will be highlighting specific areas that will enable you to hole more putts all backed up by data from Quintic Ball Roll and Blast Motion.

Each session has limited availability so you will need to book to secure your space.

His first four seminars are on the following dates:

Importance of Posture and Aim when putting- 29th January 5:30-7:30pm

Length of stroke, tempo and how to effectively control speed -11th February 5:30-7:30pm
Grip and body movement- 28th February 2-4pm
Custom-fit your own putter to get your optimal launch conditions- 4th March 3-6pm and book your 30minute session

You will have a chance to hit putts in the Lab using Quintic and Blast to see your own data. Each session costs £15

Evolution...

It’s safe to say that the technology embedded into today’s clubs has helped us hit the ball further without swinging any harder. For some that might mean hitting the ball as far as we did before the effects of ageing started to take place, whereas for others it means booming drives 300+ yards and reaching par-5s in two.

Just imagine...

If you hit every club in your bag five to ten yards further, your tee shots will be longer and you'll have less distance remaining to the green. So, rather than standing there with a 6-iron you might now have an 8-iron in your hand, which gives you a much better chance of hitting it close.

Rainy season

Hats off to any weekday and weekend warriors out there. It’s great to see that no matter how cold or wet it is, you still venture onto the course to enjoy some time with your friends. We only have one piece of advice for you: be well equipped for what Mother Nature might throw your way!
