Links Ladies Weekend at Sprowston Manor
The golf club was rather quiet last weekend as 34 of our lady members enjoyed their now customary annual golf break away at Sprowston Manor near Norwich.
The weather was good unlike in previous years and by the sound of it everybody really enjoyed both the course and facilities at Sprowston. I understand that the evening entertainment included a group sing along accompanied by Marcella on the piano and as each year goes by her play seems to be improving or was that after each glass of wine!
Back to the golf, the winner on day 1 was Kirstie Guthrie - 36 points. Day 2, Diana Merchant & Christine Camplin won with 44 points. The Ladies' Captain would like to thank everyone who supported the weekend and who helped make it a very enjoyable & successful trip away.
